An important component of the “Velika Gorica Solar City – COUNTDOWN” project is the education of the population about the project and the benefits of using solar energy from solar power plants. In order to facilitate the promotion of the project, a communication strategy was developed that envisaged increasing the visibility of the project through the website, brochures and leaflets, as well as promotional material with the labels of the project participants.<\/p>\n\n

In this way, flyers and brochures were designed for several target groups – kindergarten children, school children, the general public and the profession, and promotional materials such as t-shirts, umbrellas, thermal containers, calendars and others were also created.<\/p>\n\n

At the beginning of 2024. Workshops in kindergartens and schools for children and young people started in 2018, and a total of 12 such workshops are planned. With professional guidance, the children shared their knowledge about solar energy, which can be converted into electricity, as well as all the benefits of such a project. With interest and many questions, they joined the discussion and expanded their knowledge on this topic. You can see how it was at the workshops in the attached pictures.<\/p>\n\n
